Hackers compromised Ukraine's Air Alert app and Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations app, as well as Russian regional channels in the MAX messenger, distributing false nuclear, radiation and chemical-threat warnings. Both countries said their wider warning systems continued operating, while the apps were temporarily suspended or gradually restored.
